Welcome back to Kefallonia class blog!

This is our last week until Orthodox Easter, and so we are going to be having lots of fun doing our Easter activities.

Amongst other things, we will:

Make a Greek Easter Card

Finish our learning about the days in Easter Week and why they are special. We have just got up to the Last Supper.

Make our own dyed egg

Make a patterned Easter egg

Write some of favourite things about Easter and write some letters to the Easter bunny.

 

We will also have a chance to go and say a quick goodbye to the chicks in Thassos before they are taken off to be free range chickens on the farm.

It’s going to be a busy week!

Additional Notes:

Please remember to only allow your child to bring in one toy from home on the day of their show and tell. They should not be bringing any toys in on any other day as they may get lost or broken. The schedule for show and tell is below:

Monday: Sunshines

Tuesday: Snowflakes

Wednesday: Stars

Thursday: Lightning

Friday: Rainbow

All children know their groups and this is the same day as they will be changing their reading book.
