Happy Half Term

Hello Everyone,

It was lovely meeting you during parents evening.

This week, Reception children enjoyed reading the story of the ‘The Leopard’s Drum’. They had the opportunity to discuss what animals can be found in the jungle and then compare differences between forest and jungle animals. They also drew a picture with the different characters of the story and managed to write a caption about them, using the sounds that we have been learning in phonics.

During Maths, children continued learning counting forwards using Numicon shapes as well as making repeating patterns using Pegs and Baseboards.

Moreover, children had so much fun decorating their own unique pink flags for Pink Breakfast Morning. Throughout the week, children were learning about sharing, caring for one another and helping people in need.

Have a lovely half term and cannot wait to see everyone back on the 31st,

Miss Panayiotou, Miss McGrath, Miss Mozo & Mrs Brown.
