Spetses and Zakynthos Home Learning 6.4.2020 and 13.4.2020

Hello Year 3!

We hope you are all keeping safe and healthy. Now that Easter is approaching do take the time to relax and enjoy celebrating at home with loved ones. Last week, Mrs Mantilas said to see the work (we set for you to complete at home) as guidance. If you feel your children would prefer to do other activities such as cooking or spending their time outdoors, do not feel obliged to pressure your children to complete all the work. As always the mental well-being of your children comes first so take your judgment as to what you want your children to do.

RE

In RE read, learn and write about the Easter Story. Each day read one slide from the Easter Story then write the event for that day. You may choose to record the story in different narratives such as a letter, diary entry, newspaper report, poster, fact file for the day’s events to record Holy Week.

Day 1 Lazarus

Day 2 Palm Sunday

Day 3 Holy Monday Jesus Curses the Fig Tree

Day 4 Holy Tuesday The Wise and Foolish Virgins

Day 5 Holy Wednesday The Sinful Lady

Day 6 Holy Thursday The Last Supper

Day 7 Holy Friday Good Friday

Day 8 Holy Saturday Sabbath Day

Day 9 Holy Sunday The Resurrection

You can watch an animated video of The Easter Story.
