Spetses week ending 27.06.25

In English, we finished planning an magical adventure with the characters we created last week, in the settings we created. Then we used our plans to write our stories.

In Maths, we completed the unit on money. Estimating, adding money, subtracting money, finding change and solving problems with money.

In RE,  year 3 the children focused on ‘Our Church respects the saints.’ Year 4 focused on the BIG question: What other activities happen in a place of worship?. Both year groups explored the significance of the feast day of St Paul and St Peter.

Remember to keep working on times table knowledge and number bonds – the basis for the more complex mathematics.

For handwriting we follow the Nelson scheme, it supports correct formation of letters and helps to keep cursive writing neat and legible.
