Week beginning 3.10.16

This week in literacy we will be looking at different books by the author Roald Dahl. We will be comparing examples of the texts and discussing ways that Roald Dahl engages the reader. For guided reading we have been reading the story George’s Marvellous Medicine, the children have really enjoyed it.

In numeracy we will be continuing with addition and subtraction, with a focus on using columnar methods. We will also be looking at measurement and answering questions using centimetres and metres.

Hopefully we will have Mathletics and Spellodrome ready soon, sorry for the delay, for now please just remember homework is due every Wednesday.
