Year 2 Home learning 5/12/25
This week has been a very busy week.
We are coming to the end of our English unit on letter writing focusing on the book ‘Dragon post’ Next week children will be finishing their letters to animal welfare asking how they can look after a dragon.
In maths we have been learning about 2D and 3D shapes and have been counting their faces, edges and vertices. All of the children have done well at using the correct mathematical language.
In RE we have been using our learning on Diwali and our understanding on how Christians view Jesus as the light of the world, to create a piece of work comparing light as a symbol.
In Art the children have produced some fantastic collages which they have finalised with added detail.
