Dear Ydra class,
We’ve had a busy week! In English we worked collaboratively to create a radio advert about our school. We also created group and individual inventions, using a range of ideas from a pizza slicer to a handheld umbrella with a drinking cup attachment. Your annotated designs were inspirational!
In maths, we focused on subtracting and adding decimals with different numbers of decimal places, efficient strategies for adding and subtracting decimals and using mental strategies.
In science we learnt about the size and impact of asteroids on Earth.
