This week we have been:
Exploring our superheroes topic this week, we read the story ‘There’s a superhero in my book!’ We have been designing our own super heroes are thinking about what superpowers they might have, we have also enjoyed dressing up as super heroes! we will be continuing this learning next week.

In maths this week we have been learning about symmetry. We have been using a mirror to help us see the other half of a picture, drawing the other half of a picture, making symmetrical pictures using the collage, playing the symmetrical card game and playing the matching symmetrical picture game using the whiteboard.

In a RE this week we have been learning about the 5k’s in Sikhism, we learnt what the 5K’s are and then we created our own using the creative area. Can you see what we made and what they are called?

This week we sent home our beanstalks, we hope you have enjoy growing them at home. Please keep us updated on how they are doing. We also sent home our cress heads, please use it at home, we hope you enjoy it. We made cress sandwiches and the children really enjoyed them!

This week we have been reflecting on our zones of regulation (how we feel). We coloured in a volcano which showed the different levels we want to be in. We want to be in the green zone and if we feel we are creeping into the blue zone, yellow zone and orange zone we can use our stress heart to stop as being in the red zone and take us back to green.

Next week we will be:
- Continuing our superhero topic by reading the book ‘Super potato’.
- Continuing out learning about symmetry.
- Learning about how God made summer.
