Dear Parents and Carers of Ithaca Class,
This week we have been looking at the zones of regulation and encouraging the children to recognise when they may need to take a moment to self-regulate. They have looked at what each of the zones mean and we will continue to develop on identifying these.
Please can we continue to give a gentle reminder to all our learners: staying focused during lessons helps us make the most of our rich and exciting curriculum. Working as a team and supporting one another is key to our success.
✍️ In English, we have been continuing with our persuasive writing. The children have been coming up with some brilliant topics for their speeches. They have shown real passion and have been using all of the persuasive devices to make the most impact. They should all continue with the same drive and passion as we will prepare to embark on out poetry unit.
