Billy Goats -14.05.26

Dear Parents,

This week we have been reading the stories of ‘The three Billy goats gruff’ (nursery) and ‘The three Billy goats fluff’ (reception). We looked at the setting and described the houses of the troll and the goats. We used adjectives to make our sentences longer. We also looked at how and where we find bridges. We explained that there are certain things that have to be done to build a bridge and rules must be followed. The children worked in groups using collage materials to create a bridge.

In Maths, we explored grouping and sharing i.e how to share a given number. For example, 12 can be shared in 6 groups of 2.

In RE,  we looked at the story of ‘The Good Samaritan’ and recognised that God wants us to help people and be kind to one another.

We loved seeing all the children coming in with their career costumes!
