Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. We hope you enjoyed your Christmas holidays.

This term’s topic is all about Our World. This week, we have been learning about life on different continents by reading the book ‘ Here we are’.Here We Are: Notes for Living on Planet Earth – An Animated Read Out Loud with Moving Pictures – YouTube

Reception children were introduced, how to write a sentence using capital letters, finger spaces and full stops.

We explored the artist Guiseppe Arcimboldo and looked at his artwork. Children recreated their own fruit faces collages based on this artist. We also celebrated the Greek Orthodox celebration of Theophania and why this is important for our school.
