Dear Year 6,

As you get ready to sit your SATs, we wanted to take a moment to remind you of something very important — how truly brilliant you are.

These tests are just one small way to show some of what you’ve learned, but they can never measure all the amazing things that make you you. They don’t measure your kindness, your creativity, your sense of humour, your imagination, or the way you brighten someone’s day with a smile or a helping hand. They don’t show how hard you’ve worked, how much you’ve grown, or how brave you’ve been in facing challenges.

We are already so proud of everything you have achieved this year and everything you are becoming. Your determination, resilience and curiosity are what really matter — and those are things no test can ever capture.

So, as you sit down to do your best next week, remember that your best is always enough. We believe in you, we’re cheering for you, and we’re so excited to see all the incredible things your future holds.

Good luck — but more importantly, be proud of yourself and all that you’ve accomplished so far. You are already a success in so many ways.

With all our best wishes and lots of pride,

Mrs Clarke-Benson & Miss Moloney
