Fairytales and Fairytales with a Twist24.04.26

Dear Parents,

This term is all about Fairytales. Nursery children will be introduced to Traditional Fairytales and Reception children will learn about Fairytales with a twist. Additionally, this term nursery will be introduced to sounds and will be practising set 1 sounds.

This week we looked at the story ‘A wolf at the door’ which combines different fairytales. We talked about the events in the story and the different characters. We also explored different animals and where they live comparing environments.

In Maths, we looked at how many more i.e. add more, how many did you add as well as taking away.

In RE, we looked at ‘God Made Summer’, recognising the changes in summer time.
