This week we have had a good week with our learning.
In English we are enjoying our new book for this topic ‘A walk in London.’ Children have been learning about persuasive writing and have begun to create posters which will persuade people to come to London. We are also enjoying our class reading for pleasure book ‘James and the giant peach,’ which we have left on a bit of a cliff-hanger.
Thank you to all of those children (and parents) who made an effort for world book day the children enjoyed dressing up and sharing stories with some of you in the Morning.
In maths we have been learning about Mass and weight. We spent our first lesson looking at different weighing scales and how they work. We even managed to find an old Victorian set of scales and weights.
This week we also, flew our kites on Clean Monday. We are looking forward to science week next week!
