Home learning 14.11.25 – 19.11.25

Dear Parents and Carers of Ithaca Class,

I hope those that were able to attend enjoyed the class assembly. The children took a real sense of pride in learning their lines. Well done to all for the hard work and effort they put in.

Please can we continue to give a reminder to all our learners: staying focused during lessons helps us make the most of our rich and exciting curriculum. Working as a team and supporting one another is key to our success.

In maths, we have been learning about area and the ways in which we work it out. The students have been really engaged and understood the learning. They should all be proud of their understanding and work.

In English we have been looking at main clauses, subordinating clauses and subordinating conjunctions. They have all been displaying a good understanding.

In science we have been learning about the skeleton, looking at vertebrates, invertebrates, endoskeletons and exoskeletons.

Wishing you all a restful and enjoyable weekend. We look forward to seeing you all next week!

Warm regards,

Mrs Durrant, Mrs Banitsiotis & Miss Neto
