Ithaca Home learning 17-10-25 – 22-10-25
Dear Parents and Carers of Ithaca Class,
It was a pleasure to speak with many of you over the two days of parents evening. I just wanted to reiterate a few points, I am always happy to have a chat, please do not hesitate to speak to me in the playground. For those that unfortunately could not attend, again please feel free to speak to me and arrange an alternative time if needs be. Thank you all for your support as we navigate Year 4 as a team.
Please can we continue to give a gentle reminder to all our learners: staying focused during lessons helps us make the most of our rich and exciting curriculum. Working as a team and supporting one another is key to our success. This was one of the themes discussed during parents evening and I just wanted to say thank you to everyone for being on board with ensuring Ithaca class gets the best of the curriculum.
✍️ In English, we have finished our persuasive speeches and have now moved onto the whole school unit. The children have engaged really well with exploring ‘The Tree and The River’, sharing their many creative ideas and conclusions.
Wishing you all a restful and enjoyable weekend. We look forward to another great week ahead!
Warm regards,
Mrs Durrant, Mrs Banitsiotis & Miss Neto
