Ithaca Class week ending 27.09.24

This week in Ithaca…

In Maths we have focused on using a number line to 10,000 which included estimating and placing numbers to 10,000 on the number line. Also, ordering number’s to 10,000 using the symbols < (less than), > (greater than) and = (equal to).

In English we have focused on structuring a newspaper article including a headline, introductory paragraph (using the five w’s), the main facts (using clear paragraphs) and an image with a caption.

In Science, we have learnt about dental hygiene and explaining how to care for our teeth. The children were able to recall factors that damage teeth and describe how to maintain dental hygiene.
