Police and Firefighters- 5/12

Dear Parents,

This week we have been busy learning about emergency services and understanding their occupation- police officers and firefighters. We read the book ‘You cant call an elephant on an emergency’. Children created wanted posters in order to describe their criminal and help the police officers catch him.

In Maths, we explored shapes with 4 sides as well as shapes in the environment.

In RE, we learnt how God made the water and everything in the water.

In PSHE, we explored diversity through thinking similarities and differences between our friends.

Children also looked at the artist Piet Mondarian that uses rectangles and squares to create artwork.
