Year 2 Home Learning- 03.10.25
This week we celebrated a very important feast day for our school. Saint Cyprian’s day was celebrated on Thursday with a celebration assembly, we welcomed Father George and had role play, readings and artwork from many classes. Year 2 created an amazing piece of printing of St. Cyprian which the children should be very proud of. This is now on display outside the Head teachers office.
We have created a final piece of writing using command sentences and instructions, as well as lists using comma’s.
In maths we have been introduced to fact families and number bonds to 100.
We are looking forward to next week when we will begin our new English unit on poetry.

Apologies to the parents in Crete class as the purple Home Learning books were not given out on Friday, Some children also left their reading books in class. If you do not have your purple home learning book please still do your home learning on paper and we will stick it into your books.
