Year 2 Home learning-08.05.26

This week once again has been a busy week of learning.

In English we have begun learning about instructional writing through our new book ‘How to wash a woolly mammoth.’

We have all worked extremely hard in maths on our learning about fractions with lots of new skills and vocabulary and you should all be very hard of your achievements.

In History, you have all taken a keen interest in our current topic. Leading on from our trip to the Tower of London, we have been learning about the Battle of Hastings in 1066 and how this led to King William being named William the Conqueror.

Our art project on clay and how to use this correctly is going well and you are all acquiring new skills week by week. I look forward to seeing your end of topic sculptures.

Your home learning for this week is below.
