Year 2 Home Learning 14.11.25
This week, you have all continued to show determination and commitment to your learning and some children are beginning to understand the importance of practising and persevering.
In English we are beginning to plan our own stories based around a journey, just like our first text this half term.
In maths we continue our learning on subtraction and knowing when this should be used. Some of us have been working on knowing when to exchange tens and ones.
In science we are continuing our work on microhabitats.
This week we would like you to complete a writing task describing St Paul’s Cathedral.
Please use the pictures below to help you remember what the cathedral looked like and to think of interesting adjectives you could use.
Remember an expanded noun phrase is made up of adjective + adjective + noun =expanded noun phrase.
Remember when you use more than one adjective, this should be separated by a comma.
Keep us the good work and have a lovely weekend
Miss Hopper & Mrs Tsiama
