Year 2 Home learning- 26.09.26

This week we have enjoyed reading our new story in English and have began thinking about how we write command sentences. The children are showing a better understanding of how to extend their sentences using conjunctions.

In maths we have finished our unit on place value and next week will be looking at addition and subtraction.

There has been some fantastic learning in history, where the children learnt about Mary Seacole and the Crimean war.

This week the children have worked especially hard in DT making chairs out of paper. They have shown great determination and resilience even when things did not go as they had planned.

A big well done to the children in Santorini  Class. Even though your Teacher Mrs Tsiama has not been in. You have all worked amazingly so well done.

Your Home learning for this week is below.  If you have left you purple home learning book at school please use paper and we will stick it into your home learning books.
