This week we completed our drafts, then edited and finally published some amazing non chorological report (NCR). Our final published piece included a front cover and blurb.
Maths
This week in our unit on fractions, we focused on multiplying mixed numbers by an integer, calculating fractions of a quantity and fractions of amounts.
RE
This week, we learnt about the Lunar New Year, we deepened our understanding of the symbols and meanings of this celebration.
Viking Day
We ended the week with an interactive workshop about the Vikings; what they eat, how they lived and their contributions to life today. We were able to handle many replica artefacts that we used to deduce what life was like for the Vikings.
