Maths
We started a unit on shapes; understanding and using degrees, classifying angles, estimating angles, measuring angles up to 180° and drawing lines and angles accurately.
English
We started a unit on explanation texts. Our core text is ‘The Lost Book of Adventure’ edited by Teddy Keen.
RE
We started a unit on Sacraments and Orthodox Families. In the lessons this week, we learnt about how God unites people in marriage and that children are a gift from God.
Science
We started a unit on ‘Unbalanced Forces’. In the first lesson we learnt to how to define gravity and its effects.
