Year 5, week ending 26.09.25
This week in year 5…
In English, it was our final week on non-chronological reports. We completed our drafts, edited & proofread with feedback from our peers and our teacher. Then we published our writing and it was put together to create a class anthology.
In Maths, we finished our unit on place value; comparing and ordering numbers to 1,00,000, rounding numbers to the nearest 10/ 100/ 1000/ 10,000/ 100, 000.
In RE, in our unit ‘ We grow by worshipping God’, we focused on the gifts we present at the liturgy.
In Science, we explored the process of sieving and learnt how to draw and annotate a diagram to explain a concept.
