Over the last two weeks, we have created print adverts and written scripts for the video adverts for our products. We look forward to recording them in the first week back – it takes a lot to promote a winning product!

Maths
We continued to focus on the following steps in the unit decimals; add decimals with different numbers of decimal places, subtract decimals with different numbers of decimal places and multiply by 10, 100 and 1,000.
RE
We focused on how funerals can both differ and share similarities across different worldviews.
Science
We were designing and building simple pulley systems and exploring the effects of levers and gears.
Geography
We ended the week, with a field trip linked to our topic on marine environments.
We saw a variety of birds; Mallard ducks, Canadian Geese, Coots (just to name a few). We also completed tally charts to record the litter in the environment. We completed reports and made recommendations to protect the lake.
