Year 6 Week ending 04.10.24
It has been a productive week.
In Maths, the children have continued their learning with the four operations, looking deeper at long multiplication. We also have started mini arithmetic tests to check knowledge taught so far.
In English, we have begun to delve deeper into our narrative poem, The Highwayman, and the children wrote their own alternative ending, including rhymes, similes and metaphors.
In Science, we continued our learning on Living Things and looked into 4 groups within the invertebrate family, all children really enjoyed this!
