Zakynthos Class Home Learning – Week Ending 26.06.26

Dear Parents, Carers,

I hope you have not suffered too much with this lovely, extreme hot weather we have been having and you have manged to cope with it very well.

In English this week, the children continued with writing their alternative ending to the Iron Man story. We briefly recapped from previous learning on how to use and punctuate direct speech, they reviewed and discussed their plans and writing so far. They then finished drafting their stories, stopping regularly for re-reading, editing and proof-reading as necessary and finally published their amazing alternative ending.

In Maths, the children continued with learning about Shapes. We focused on how to draw polygons, how to identify, describe and draw 3-D shapes and how to make 3-D shapes.

We will continue with foundations subjects next week when the weather is much cooler.
