Zakynthos Class Home Learning – Week Ending 29.05.26

Dear Parents, Carers,

This week in English, the children focused on finishing off their planning an Instruction, edited, made adjustments, proof read their work and then published their amazing Instructions.

In Maths, we continued and finished with Time. The children worked on Hours and minutes – use durations, Solved problems with time and then focused on doing Arithmetic Dojo’s and practiced their 3 and 4 tines table.

In RE, the children compared the differences and similarities between a Church and a Mosque.

In Science, we continued with our topic ‘Plants’ and looked at how water travels through a plant from the roots the the leaves. They also continued with drawing each day Plant A  and plant B (covered with a clear plastic bag), writing what was happening to the plants.
