Easter/Animals
This week we have been:
Learning about Holy Week, Easter. So far we have learnt about Palm Sunday, Holy Monday, Holy Tuesday and Holy Wednesday. We have been acting out the story and talking about each day. We have also enjoyed making a sweet Greek bread called ————. Next week we will be continuing our learning about Holy Week and taking part in our Easter assembly.
We watched a video called Jesus loves me, the children knew the song and enjoyed looking closer at the words in the song and what they mean, the children took a cross home to remind them that Jesus loves them.

In maths this week we have been learning about 3D shapes. We have been identifying solid and flat shapes. We have been looking at 3D shapes in real life and learning the names of the shapes. We will be exploring this more next next.
In science this week we have been learning about liquid and solid. We used kit and pup to show us what a liquid and solid is. We then looked at several items and sorted them into liquid and solid. Please explore this at home with the children.
Next week we will be:
- Continuing our Holy Week, Easter learning and taking part in our Easter assembly.
- Continuing our learning about 3D shapes
- Exploring how to bake a cake.
