About Chinese New Year. we have been writing Chinese letters, writing Chinese numbers, exploring noddles in the water tray, telling the Chinese zodiac story, making fortune cookies on the play dough  table and making Chinese dragons and Chinese lanterns on the creative table. On Friday we had a big celebration in the hall, it was lots of fun.

Messages home

We have sent home information on helping the children with their coats. This includes putting the coats on, doing up buttons and doing up zips please practice this during the holidays and encourage the children to be independent.

Please can you also ask that all the children’s clothes especially their jumpers have their names written in them. As its getting a little warmer the children are taking their jumpers off and it makes it tricky when they do not have names.

We hope you have a relaxing break.

Thank you for you ongoing support, Mrs Herne
