Jaspers Beanstalk
This week we have been:
Reading the story ‘Jaspers beanstalk’. The story reminded us of the days of the week and how to grow a plant. We have been talking about what seeds might grow into and we then planted our own seeds. We wonder what will happen to the seeds?
We have also been exploring money. We have been looking at the 1p coin and talking about how many pennies are in a 2p/5p/10p coin. We have also been counting how many pennies are in different sized purses.
This week we celebrated Fathers day and learnt about why we celebrate it. We have have fun making special cards and talking about our daddy’s and grandads.
We have also been preparing for our assembly this week, we hope you are able to find green clothes for your child to wear and that you are able to come and watch on Friday 24th June at 9:00am.
Next week we will be:
- Reading Jack and the beanstalk and exploring measuring.
- Learning about Pentecost.
- Exploring wet and dry.
- Learning the sounds j, v, y and w.
