Dear Parents and Carers,
We hope you have had a lovely summer! The children are settling in well to the new school year.
This week in Maths we have been focusing on counting and number recognition within 10. In English we have been looking at a folk tale called ‘ Why the Evergreens keep their leaves’ from America, and have even written our own versions of the story. In Science and Geography we have been focusing on the changing seasons and what autumn looks like around us. Please see attached the home learning for this week, the Edshed logins have been stuck into their reading records so you should be able to log on. Reading books have also been sent home so please encourage children to read for at least 10 minutes a day.
