Week ending 3.11.23
Hello Parents and Carers,
Children have settled very into their second half term!
The children have started a new book in English called Katie in London. We have been working on writing descriptive sentences using adjectives, capital letters and full stops.
In Maths, the children have been continuing their learning of Addition and Subtraction, and we have been specifically focusing on subtraction within 10.
In History, we have started our new topic of Transport: Old and New, and this week our key focus was the different modes of transport that we use today. In Art, we used forks to print our own firework displays.
Our focus in RE was prayer and how we talk to God. We took time to reflect on the things that we thank God for and the things that we need to ask God for help with.
Lastly, in Science we have been looking at the different materials that things in our classrooms are made of.
