Topic – We are learning about the Civil Rights movement in America. You are to create a poster on either:
- Explaining what the Civil Rights movement is
OR
- Pick a key Civil Rights activist and explain what makes them significant to the movement
This homework is due on Wednesday.

Homework this week:
You must learn your lines and the songs by heart. Next week we will continue to rehearse without any scripts so you need to know your lines. If you have lost your script, please find it attached in the previous blog post. Please can you bring your costume into school in a bag with your name labelled on it on Monday 4th July. We will be having a dress rehearsal on this day and across next week.
Also, please read the letter attached regarding the performance. It is important that adults read all sections carefully so that they are aware of the plans over the coming of weeks: Show Letter – St Cyprians (nn)

Welcome back those of you from Corfu, I look forward to hearing all the stories you have to share 🙂
Homework this week:
Topic: Research EITHER the Exxon Valdez oil spill or the British Petroleum oil spill, Gulf of Mexico. You can either create this as a poster or write about it in your homework books. Please can you answer these questions about the event:
- When did it take place?
- What happened? Who was involved
- Who was culpable/How did it happen?
- How did it affect the oceans/sea creatures?
Also, you must learn your lines and the songs by heart. We want to focus more on the acting and positioning so learning your lines will make this a smoother process. Also, the costume list has been attached in the last homework post. Please can you bring this in at some point next week into school in a bag with your name labelled on it.
