Welcome to Year 4
Hello,
As we are sure you are aware, a lot has been happening across the world recently, many people are out protesting for equality. We hope you are all well and safe and in light of current events, this week for your learning we would like you to discuss the topic of racism using votes for schools. Parents and carers, I have attached a letter giving you some more information about this. The children are used to using votes for schools within the classroom so they should have a good understanding of how to create a piece of writing around this topic.
After you have done this piece of writing, you could also create a piece of artwork to promote equality and email any you have done to the office. We could then upload some on the blog for the following week for you all to have a look at!

Hello,
We hope you had a lovely bank holiday weekend and enjoyed the sun!
As it is ‘half term’ please use this time to relax and enjoy family time. We have uploaded a lot of work recently, so you could also use this time to catch up!
We will be in school this week to prepare for the children coming back, we will also still be making phone calls home to check in on you all!
Have a lovely week and stay safe!
Good morning everyone,
We hope you have had an amazing week. As with last week, it was amazing to speak to you this week and we look forward to speaking you again next week. Please take photos of any projects you have done these last few weeks. Also any work you are particularly proud of save these as well. It would amazing for us to share the work we have been doing at home once it is save for us all to be back at school.
This weeks work will be posted below. As with previous weeks there is no pressure to complete the work. Home schooling is no easy task, especially if you are working from home. Even Mr Theophilou is finding it difficult to sta engaged for hours on end.
I am going to repost the link to my RE lessons on Youtube. Some have activities, some are just 5 minute videos to listen to and then continue with your day

Hello!
I hope you all had a lovely and safe bank holiday weekend. I’m sure you have all watched the update from Boris Johnson. Please wait for an official update from Mrs Mantillas about how our school will move forward with this, safely, if schools do reopen in June.
It was really lovely to speak to all of the children last week, we will be calling again on Friday! We loved having an update from the children and cannot wait to hopefully see them again soon! We have heard how many of you have become star bakers during this time, so we will be expecting lots of cakes when we are back!
This weeks learning will be posted below. Please remember, this is a strange time, there is absolutely no pressure to complete it all, please just do as much as you can! Home schooling your children, especially if you’re working from home, is no easy task! Even Miss Sandberg is finding it challenging and she is a teacher! Children, please read as much as you can and practise those times tables!
