This week at school is inclusion week! Our theme is Black History Month.
Miss Sandberg will be running a lunch time reading club with books linked to black history.
Don’t forget, if you create a piece of home learning on somebody from black history, related to the arts (music, writers, film producers, actors etc), you could win a prize!

Welcome back! We hope you had a wonderful summer!
This week in numeracy we will be focusing on places value and adding 10’s, 100’s and 1000’s.
In literacy we will be learning about the features of newspaper articles and writing our own, if you have any newspapers at home please bring them in.

As you may have heard, this year the government have introduced a standardised test for year 4 on times tables. The children will have six seconds to answer a question, therefore it is really important that times tables are practised daily at home in order to support your child.
Please remember to read as often as possible and leave a comment in your child’s reading record.
